Black Aluminium Gear Shift Paddles for Range Rover & Land Rover — Direct-Fit Steering Wheel Upgrade
Precision-machined black aluminium shift paddles that bolt directly onto your existing steering wheel — transforming your cabin's feel and responsiveness in under two minutes.
Overview
Range Rover and Land Rover interiors already set a benchmark for refinement, but the standard gear shift paddles can feel underwhelming — plasticky in texture, modest in size, and lacking the tactile feedback that enthusiastic drivers demand. Whether you're threading through a mountain pass in a Sport L494 or navigating urban streets in a Vogue L460, the steering wheel is your primary point of contact with the vehicle, and it deserves to reflect the same level of ambition you bring to every drive.
These black aluminium gear shift paddles are engineered to clip cleanly onto your existing steering wheel stalks, adding instant visual drama and a noticeably more confident gear-change feel. The precision-machined aluminium construction gives each paddle a solid, weighted presence that the OEM plastic simply cannot replicate — and the matte black finish pairs effortlessly with both dark and light interior colour schemes across the Range Rover and Land Rover lineup.
Installation requires no tools, no technical experience, and no modifications to your vehicle. The pre-applied adhesive backing bonds securely to the existing paddle surface, and the entire process takes under two minutes. It's one of the highest-impact, lowest-effort interior upgrades available for your vehicle — and the results are immediately noticeable every time you reach for a gear change.

Installation Notes
⏱ Estimated Time: Under 2 Minutes · 🔧 Difficulty: Beginner
- Turn your steering wheel to a comfortable working position and ensure the vehicle is stationary with the ignition off.
- Clean the surface of both existing OEM shift paddles thoroughly using an alcohol wipe or dry microfibre cloth. Remove any dust, grease, or moisture.
- Allow the surface to dry completely for at least 60 seconds before proceeding.
- Peel the protective film from the pre-applied adhesive backing on the first aluminium paddle.
- Align the aluminium paddle carefully over the OEM paddle, ensuring even placement before pressing down. You will have very limited repositioning time once contact is made.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the entire paddle surface for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond.
- Repeat steps 4–6 for the second paddle.
- Allow a minimum of 30 minutes curing time before driving for optimal adhesion strength.
